Welcome

It is my pleasure along with that of the faculty and staff, to welcome all parents and students to Excellence and Justice in Education (EJE) Elementary Academy. We are happy to have you join us as a part of our school family and continue making history. As the only non-profit charter school with a dual language program in the district we believe that together we will achieve excellence and justice in education. It is essential that we work as a team in this journey. As a 90/10 dual language Spanish/English program, it takes five to seven years to see the fruits of bi-literacy (to be able to read, write, and academically speak in two languages). Parent and teacher support and commitment to the program and its goals are critical in order to experience academic excellence. We welcome your participation and support during the school year and invite you to become a member of the parent organization or other school committees. As we work together, we will reach our goals for this year as well as in the future. We look forward to celebrating your child’s achievement towards excellence.
